Seeing hearts touched and awakened!

Well, I arrived last Thursday in Brussels and no, there was no sleeping on the plane. For some reason I just cannot sleep on planes. Oh well. Upon arriving I felt the oppression more than previous times. I don't know if that is because I know I am moving here and so it feels different now or if it was just the enemy attacking me but either way it was pretty intense. I had to really battle feeling depressed and discouraged but I fought that off and we started going. We immediately had to start getting ready for the conference which started on Saturday. We had to track down music and sound gear which is what we spent most of the day doing on Thursday. Then Friday, we loaded all the sound and music equipment and headed towards the campground. The conference was in Carlsberg, which is about 2 hours from Brussels. The 1st day of the conference was Saturday and it was a crazy day. Some of the sound equipment didn't arrive until 5 and we had to setup, have rehearsal, and be ready by 7. It was a rough start but we pressed through and God moved. After the main session we played a late night prophetic worship set and alot of students came in and soaked in His presence. The next day things really started to break open. We taught a work shop about being awakened to the times. We prayed and prophesied over the students. Then I gave a word of encouragement to the youth leaders in a leadership meeting. We played again for the main session that night and God really begin to move and His presence fell in a powerful way. We had a 3 hour alter call of praying over students. God's presence was there in a real way and the students were experiencing God in a way that some of them never had before. The next day we did another work shop. Zach and Allyster taught and they both did amazing. We again prayed over the students and prophesied over almost all of them. By this time I am exhausted. We didn't play the last night cause there was a concert. The last day we had to tear down all the equipment, load up and head back to Brussels. When we got back we took Matt Lankenau to the airport. Matt came from Berlin to hook up with us and to see what God is doing in Brussels and to see how Ninth Hour can connect with European Initiative. After dropping Matt off at the airport we unloaded all the equipment from the conference, had dinner, and called it a day. It was a successful conference. We were able to connect to many other students and leaders, and help them experience the reality of God's presence and His power that He wants to demonstrate in and through their lives. I love seeing hearts touched and awakened!

What a great week!

Hey everyone! It's been a great week at the grove. We had an amazing 1829 service last week. I am continually blown away by God's love for us. I love getting together with people that are pursuing His presence! It's awesome! So don't ever miss an opportunity to come get refreshed in His presence.
We have a lot going on this month and coming up this summer. We have a special speaker from Ethiopia this week and Jesus Culture Conference on May 22nd- 24th. You can sign up on Wednesday night or online at Jesusculture.org. Oh, and don't forget mothers day this Sunday! All you kids out there need to do something extra special for your mom! We have launch and camp coming up this summer. You can sign up for those at 1829 or go to 1829online.com for more info.
I am excited about what God IS doing and IS going to do in our lives in this next season! As I talked about this last week, lets not give up or give in but endure to the end so that after you have done the will of God, you can receive the promise!! Peace and Blessings!!
